Cyningtafl Privacy Policy
Your data stays yours.
Effective date: October 27, 2026 | App version: 1.0.1 and later | Publisher: Liberty Apps, USA
Who we are
Cyningtafl ("the app") is an Android game published on Google Play by Liberty Apps, USA, under the Ordstirr name. If you have a question about this policy, email [email protected].
The short version
The app does not collect, send, sell or share any of your information. The game itself has no internet access: it has no internet permission, so it cannot connect to the internet, to our computers or to any cloud service. We, the developer, never receive or see anything you do in the app.
The app is free to try. After the free trial you can unlock the full game with a one-time in-app purchase (US$1.99, or the local price Google Play shows you). The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play.
What the app keeps on your phone
To work as a game, the app saves only the following, only on your phone, in the app's private storage that other apps cannot open: your settings (such as sound on or off) and the current game; the date your free trial started; and whether you have unlocked the full game.
The app turns off Android's automatic cloud backup and phone-to-phone copy for its data, so none of it is uploaded by the app.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no account and no sign-in. The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking. Apart from Google's Play Billing Library, which lets the app talk to the Google Play Store app on your phone about the purchase, it contains no third-party code. It does not read your contacts, location, photos, messages or other apps. It does not use the Android advertising ID.
In-app purchase
The one-time unlock is bought and paid for through Google Play, under your Google account and Google's own terms and privacy policy. Google processes the payment. We do not receive your payment card details, your name, your email address or any other personal information from Google.
To check whether you have bought the unlock (including Restore purchase), the app asks the Google Play Store app on your phone. The app saves only the unlock status on your phone, so it keeps working offline.
Phone permissions
The only permission the app asks for is Google Play's billing permission (com.android.vending.BILLING), which lets it offer the one-time unlock through the Google Play Store app. It has no internet permission and no other permissions.
Links
The About screen has links to our website, ordstirr.com, and to our other apps. A link only opens if you tap it, and it opens in your phone's own browser or the Google Play Store app, outside this app. Links carry no tracking codes. Websites you visit are covered by their own privacy policies.
How long information is kept, and how to delete it
Everything the app stores stays on your phone until you clear the app's data or uninstall the app, which erases it. Your purchase stays on your Google Play account, so you can restore it after reinstalling. Because we never receive your information, we have nothing to look up, hand over or delete for you.
Children
The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Google Play
The app is downloaded, and the unlock is bought, through Google Play. Google handles your Play Store account, downloads and payments under Google's own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version at this same web address and update the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting any information, this policy and the app's Google Play listing will be updated before that version is released.
